Virgo and its Personality
Virgos get a tough press. They’re caricatured as being obsessed about detail, to the extent where they can’t see the wood for the trees. And there’s even a suggestion that they’re cold and unimaginative.
Of course like most things it’s an exaggeration with a tiny grain of truth. Virgos are certainly rooted in the material world, and they see things that other people miss. Untidiness, sums that don’t add up, a small scratch on the paintwork of their car. Yet they’re also aware of other people’s needs, and they tend to be thoughtful and considerate.
Though when they want to be they can be very critical. Virgos not only notice when someone’s doing something wrong, but they also have a way with words, that can be cruel and cutting.
The symbol for Virgo is the Virgin. It’s a representation of something that’s clean, perfect and pure. The Virgin might be a useful image for Virgos to aim for, especially when it comes to health. They’re very conscious of what they consume, and having a diet that’s unsullied by additives and contaminants is a worthy objective.
However this sign has to realise that perfection is impossible, that whatever they’re doing, it’s enough to do their best. In this light some Virgos, when they give up on finding perfection, allow everything to slip – taking the view that if perfection’s an impossibility there’s no point in bothering with anything.
