Taurus Monthly Horoscope for August 2010

In early August you might find that the people around you aren’t on very good form. There are things bothering them, that they find it difficult to discuss. At the same time friends and colleagues might be obsessed with getting everything right – and if things go wrong you might find yourself getting the blame.

Also, until August 6 or 7 you could feel that you’re running out of ideas. There are things you’ve tried, some of them have worked and some of them haven’t and you’re not sure what to do.

However there’s no need to panic. In July you had some wonderful inspirations, and very soon you’ll be able to turn theory into practice.

So what happens on August 6 or 7? Well Venus, your ruling planet, moves from Virgo to Libra, and it stays in Libra until September 8. All of a sudden you’ll feel a great sense of clarity. You’ll know what needs to be done, and you’ll be able to focus your energies with great precision.

In terms of your career, this means that you can have a very productive August, and through your hard work you can set yourself up nicely for the early Autumn – or the early Spring, if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere.

If you’re an entrepreneur, you can take your various ideas, and reduce them to their core components. You can than throw out the nonsense, and leave yourself with something very special, that can form the foundations of a brilliant business plan.

From the point of view of health and fitness, in August you can really sort yourself out. Giving up behaviours that are doing you no good, and also fine-tuning your diet.

Yet nothing is entirely easy. The moment Venus enters Libra it makes a conjunction to Saturn, and you may be called on to abandon a habit that you’re very fond of, that might have been part of your life for years and years. It might feel painful, but once you take the plunge you’ll know for sure that you’re doing the right thing.

On August 9 or 10 there’s a New Moon, in the domestic sector of your solar chart. Over the next fortnight, until the Full Moon on August 24, your home and family could take up a lot of your time, but probably for all the right reasons. You can find real security, a kind of security that in the past had eluded you.

Finishing up with relationships, and over the month Venus is moving towards a sizzling conjunction with Venus. Your sex appeal will be at the top of the range, and it’s a great time for making romantic advances. If you’re interested, this conjunction reaches peak strength on August 20, and the kind of person you’re attracting is someone physical, who has strong likes and dislikes. He or she might also been be an Aries, Libra or Scorpio.
