Scorpio Monthly Horoscope for August 2010

Right at the beginning of the month there’s a conjunction between Mars, your ruling planet, and Saturn. There might be something that you’re hiding, that for one reason or another is bothering you. In which case it might be the case that the truth can set you free.

Also, if there’s a person or a situation that makes you angry, don’t keep it to yourself. You need to be honest about your feelings, and you must be ready for a civilised discussion, where everyone can have their say.

Though throughout August you should avoid unnecessary interaction with other people. You’ll find that it’s a big strain, and you could lose your concentration. In fact, you’ll function best when you’re on your own.

However I am not saying that you should hide your light under a bushel. On August 9 or 10, depending on your time zone, there’s a New Moon, in the career sector of your solar chart. It’s a time of new beginnings, when you can move your career in a brand new direction. I would therefore advise you not to spend the whole of August on holiday, because there really is work to be done.

As far as your love life is concerned, August could be quite a useful month. Venus and Mars are moving towards a conjunction, which becomes exact on the twentieth of the month. You and someone else have lots of things in common, and in a quiet way the seeds of romance could start developing.

In this light, I should emphasise that romance can only bring satisfaction when it takes place in a low profile setting, and the less said about it the better.

On August 13 or 14 the planet Uranus changes sign. Many Scorpios will rediscover their creative spark, and they’ll have a chance to do something really special, that stands out a mile off. The less planning the better!

Towards the end of the month there’s a Full Moon. In your social life there could be some changes – perhaps you’ll understand what some of your friends are really like. It’s a revelation that might be troubling, but if you trust your feelings you’re unlikely to go too far wrong.
