Sagittarius Monthly Horoscope for December 2010

December is usually a good month for Sagittarians. You’re in a good mood and you’re optimistic about the future. And it’s the New Moon on December 5 that really kicks things off. It’s a time for a new beginning, and if there’s a project that you’re desperate to get going on, then now is your chance.

However it’s important that you’re not distracted. The tarot card associated with Sagittarius is Temperance, and this card is about having a clear goal, and firing your arrow straight into the bullseye. The crowd might be screaming at you, there might be a fly sitting on your nose, but you mustn’t allow yourself to be put off.

Shortly after the New Moon, Mars moves into the finance sector of your solar chart. As a result, you’ll want to look after your financial interests, and if you’re involved in any financial negotiations I’m confident that you’ll come out the winner.

Looking at relationships, and it seems that partners are all over the place. They’ll keep changing their mind, especially at the beginning of the month, and they could also be worried about the future. Rather than get annoyed with them, you need to understand their perspective. You can then gradually gain (or regain) their confidence and from December 18 onwards, when Mercury moves backwards in your star sign, you’ll be in full control of the situation.

If you’re a single Sagittarian, it’s a similar picture. People you meet at the beginning of the month are unlikely to be very sure of themselves, and their attentions and interests could change very quickly. And if you want to link up with someone stable, who won’t disappear at the drop of a hat, you should wait until December 18.

On December 21 there’s a Full Moon, that has a direct impact on your star sign. This Full Moon could influence your various relationships, and I’m not just talking about romance. It’s possible, for example, that a friendship, or a business partnership, enters a new phase. This phase will be characterised by absolute honesty – and if anyone’s lying, or concealing the truth, it’ll be clear to everyone.

On December 30 Mercury starts going forward. Mercury has a special connection with your career, and in the dying embers of 2010 you can do some useful work. You’ll understand the nature of future challenges, and while everyone else is out enjoying themselves you can give yourself the advantage. Then at the beginning of 2011 you can start notching up some very real career successes.

As far as the New Year’s Eve celebrations are concerned, I know that Sagittarians enjoy a good party. If you’re in Australasia or Eastern Asia then you can certainly have a great time, especially if you’re in a low profile setting. However if you’re in America or Europe don’t get your hopes up.
