Mercury continues its movement through the career sector of your solar chart, where it stays until early October. It’s therefore important that you take advantage of the situation. You need to put as much effort as possible into your career, and you should avoid taking long holidays.

However if you’re away from your desk for long periods of time, you mustn’t despair. Mercury is an ideas-orientated planet, and August will be a month that’s full of inspiration. So if you’re on the beach, you might have a sudden brainwave, that could have big implications for your career.

But it’s important to be realistic, and sometimes for every two steps forward you have to go one step back. And towards the end of August, when Mercury starts going backwards, it might be necessary to revise some of your plans. Perhaps, in some respects, you’ve been over-ambitious?
