Libra Monthly Horoscope for August 2010

Right at the beginning of the month there’s a conjunction between Mars and Saturn. As a result of this conjunction you could feel frustrated, and you might take the view that it’s impossible to get anything done. Matters might not be helped by other people’s attitude. They could be singularly unhelpful, and it won’t take much to make them angry.

For your part it’s important to be patient. It’s a high pressure situation for everyone, and a bit of understanding can go a long way. And in terms of relationships, you must understand that partners and lovers might be worried about something, and it’ll be your responsibility to put their mind to rest.

If you’re a single Libra, and you’re looking for love, then give careful consideration to the kind of person that might be suitable. You might think that your perfect person would be light and easy, with a great sense of humour, but is this really the case? In many respects you need someone who is serious and responsible, who is able to honour their promises.

On August 6 or 7 the planet Venus enters your star sign, and it stays here until September 8. From a relationship point of view this is good news. You’ll be very charming, and as soon as people meet you, they’ll feel a great sense of harmony. And after the New Moon on August 9 or 10 you have a chance to make some important friendships – with people who really appreciate your talents.

Yet I should say that the moment Venus enters Libra, it makes a conjunction to Saturn. You’ll realise that there’s one particular subject that requires your total attention, and sloppy thinking won’t be an option.

Later in the month, on around August 20, Venus conjuncts another planet, namely Mars. This conjunction brings you and someone else very close together, and from a romantic point of view there could be lots of passion. However there might also be a clash of personalities – maybe you’ll regard the other person as being too full of themselves.

As far as personalities are concerned, I’ve already said that you should be looking for someone serious and responsible. The Venus-Mars conjunction provides added information – a person who is physical, who loves sporting activity, could make your perfect match.

Finally, I should say something about your career. On August 24 there’s a Full Moon. You’ll realise that the key to career success is being able to organise yourself.
