It’s a time of year when your sense of humour is on good form, and you can make things happen in a big way. So whatever you’re doing, it’s important that you don’t doubt yourself. With a few carefully targeted jokes, you can get people onto your side, and whatever your targets, there’s no reason why you can’t achieve them.

Also, it’s not a time to be modest. You’ve got some amazing skills, and once you get them out into the open you’ll get immediate recognition. So if you’ve got any musical, theatrical or literary skills, it’s essential that you don’t keep them to yourself. And remember, what you yourself regard as being ordinary could be regarded as inspired genius by another person.

If you really feel that you haven’t got any talents, don’t worry. On December 5 there’s a New Moon, in the creativity sector of your solar chart, and you can start developing a brand new skill. It might be something outside your normal experience, but that doesn’t matter. After a few months of learning and practising you’ll start seeing the benefits.

Looking at your love life, and the first half of December is very promising. The Sun is making a sixty-degree aspect to Saturn, an aspect that is exact on Decmeber 7. The Sun rules your star sign, and Saturn rules the Seventh house of love, so you and someone else can get very close to each other. And if you’re on the look out for new love, then you can meet up with someone who is very responsible, who won’t let you down in a crisis.

Turning to the specific area of your career, it’s not going to be easy to get anything done, and you might decide to give career matters a miss, until the beginning of next year.

However if you’re determined to make progress, then it’s important to adopt the right strategy. You have to be very secretive, and that means telling no-one what you’re doing. Gather information, in a low profile way, and don’t make your move until you’re completely sure of your ground. And if you get things right, you’ll have the element of surprise.

I should also say, secrecy aside, that you shouldn’t count on other people’s support. They’ll have other things to do, and in the long run that’s probably a good thing.

During the last week of December the Sun makes a conjunction to Pluto. You’ll have a lot of power at your disposal, and once you control the organisational process you’ll be able to set the agenda.
