Aries Monthly Horoscope for August 2010

You start the month feeling tense, and perhaps also frustrated. It’ll be difficult to get anything done, and other people could be a real nightmare. However it’s important that you handle the situation in the right way. You have to be aware that whatever happens, you’re fully or partly responsible.

So if things go wrong for you in early August, don’t automatically blame other people. It’s possible, for example, that they haven’t understood your instructions, or that you haven’t listened hard enough to their needs.

From a career perspective, there are going to be particular people who have to be dealt with. You won’t get on with them, but it’s a situation that you can’t get out of. You might feel that you’re getting nowhere, but if you stick with it, you’ll slowly but surely start making progress.

Yet I must emphasise that you need to take things slowly. If you exaggerate, or take things too far, then you could very quickly run into trouble.

From the point of view of relationships, it could be an exciting month, provided you’re well-behaved, and you don’t try too hard to assert yourself. Let partners and lovers take the initiative, and if you’re looking for someone new, try not to have fixed ideas about what your perfect person should be like.

On August 6 or 7 Venus enters Libra, your opposite sign, and on August 20 it makes a conjunction to Mars. As the conjunction starts forming, your love life can move into top gear, and it’s possible that someone special is heading your way. A person who is very attractive, whose overall presence is very harmonious.

You love life may receive an additional boost from the New Moon on August 9 or 10. This New Moon will give you a new sparkle, which will allow you to project a creative and fun-loving persona. A sense of humour can boost your romantic prospects!

However there are limits to the laugher. In late August Saturn aspects Pluto. There’s a situation that needs to be taken seriously, that might have a career dimension. Perhaps there’ll be a power struggle, with someone who is in a stronger position than you? Compromise is probably the best policy.

Right at the end of August you’re involved in something that requires absolute attention to detail. There are no short-cuts, and the slightest of mistakes could be very costly. So concentrate Aries, concentrate!
