They both died at the age of 36 years and two months, but actually Marilyn Monroe lived about a day longer.
By the way, there’s no chance of Princess Diana being a reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe, because between July 1 1961 and August 5 1962 they were simultaneously alive.
Here’s another question:
‘Who lived longer, Amy Winehouse or sixties musical legend Janis Joplin?’
They both died just short of their 28th birthdays.
Amy Winehouse was born on September 14 1983 and died on July 23 2011. So she was 27 years, 10 months and 9 days old when she died.
Janis Joplin was born on January 19 1943 and died of a drug overdose on October 4 1970, meaning that when she died she was 27 years, 9 months and 16 days old. So Amy Winehouse lived longer, by around three weeks.
Right now we don’t know how Amy Winehouse died, but we do kn0w that in the past she had serious problems with drugs. This fits with her Virgo star sign – although no-one should take drugs, Virgos should make a special effort to steer clear of them.
This is because Virgoans are perfectionists. They want the world to be just right, and they have high standards both of themselves and other people. These standards are impossible to achieve, and sometimes they use drugs to fill the gap, strange as that might sound. Drugs blur the edges, and give the temporary illusion that imperfection doesn’t exist. In reality drugs make the world even more imperfect, and this creates a vicious circle of further drug-taking.
Of course the vast majority of Virgos have no problems with drugs. Yet in Amy Winehouse’s case, her Sun and Mercury in Virgo were making 90-degree aspects to Neptune, which astrologers regard as being the planet of drugs. So her horoscope showed a clear vulnerability to drug abuse. Also, Mercury is a planet connected with the lungs, and Mercury’s aspects to the Sun and Neptune would have made her prone to bronchial weakness. I know she had lung problems in the past, that were either caused or exacerbated by her drug-taking, and I wonder if breathing or lung issues had any role in her death.
From a Karmic point of view, Amy Winehouse was dealt a tough hand. She had the North Node in Gemini, and this point, where the northwards path of the Moon cuts the apparent path of the Sun, is the way forward. Gemini is about intellect and logic, about using one’s brain to make sense of the world. Yet her South Node, which is the path of least resistance, was in Sagittarius conjunct the Moon and Neptune. She was trapped by a meaningless spontaneousness, that was rooted in delusion and emotional self-destructiveness.
If you believe in reincarnation then Amy Winehouse has probably got a long struggle ahead of her, and hopefully she’ll be able to learn from the mistakes of this last incarnation, that’s just closed. And probably her biggest mistake was getting involved in drugs – with her horoscope, they almost certainly doomed her to early death.
