I’ve just put up my monthly horoscopes for September 2010. You can read them by clicking the ‘Horoscopes’ tab on the site’s main menu. Or you can access them from the following page:

I think that September could be an important month, both on an individual and collective level. Many of us will finally realise that what’s going on in the world can no longer be ignored. Political changes affect everyone, and the contents of business and economic reports have a bearing on our future.
Probably the most important event of the month is Jupiter’s movement into Pisces, where it moves towards a conjunction with Uranus. The concept of freedom is going to be very important, and there’ll also be the realisation that freedom has a price – which in extreme cases could be imprisonment or death.
Although Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions are usually fortunate, the one taking place on September 18 or 19 is close to Scheat, a rather nasty fixed star, often associated with disaster, especially disaster connected with water. So mid to late September is probably a bad time to be making boat journeys. And if you live in a flood zone you should take extra precautions.
I think the most dangerous part of the month is between the 21st and the 23rd. On the 21st the Sun is making an 180-degree opposition aspect to Jupiter, and this aspect is connected with bursting bubbles, as well as sudden and catastrophic malfunction. Then a few days later there’s a Full Moon, falling very close to the Autumnal Equinox. A time of great power, when all of us must be very careful.
Nonetheless, where there’s danger there’s opportunity.
Have a great and a safe September!

It concerns Me that September has the potential for danger around water i have a kayaking trip planned in Victoria bc that very weekend do i need to be concerned?
Faith,
Yes, it’s true that September looks dangerous for water-related activities. It’s also true that thousands and thousands of people will enjoy themselves on the water and no harm will come to them – and the chances of anything bad happening to you are very remote. So really, it depends on how strongly you feel about it, and how seriously you take astrology. And how your ‘vibes’ are – so if you get bad vibes about the expedition, even at the last minute, there’s no disgrace in pulling out.
I know nothing about kayaking, but if I was in a your position I would probably go ahead, but I wouldn’t want anyone I cared about to go kayaking. Though for all I know (and I don’t know!) kayaking may be no more dangerous than crossing the road.
As far as I can see, in 2009 there were two kayaking deaths in British Columbia:
British Columbia Accidental Water-Related Fatalities.
concerned at yourself and others are predicting 21st September to be a disasterous day. I live in Cantebury, NZ where we had the 7.4 earthquake 4th Setp., and still are experiencing many after shocks – some quite severe. Are you of a mind, “bursting bubbles, as well as sudden and catastrophic malfunction” that this could signal another large
earthquake. We are all becoming very fragile due to the constant shaking and rumblings disturbing sleep and our equilibrium. Appreciate your comments. My thanks Mios
Mios,
I wasn’t referring to the possibility of further earthquakes in New Zealand. The Sun-Jupiter opposition I refer to, which takes place on September 21, could refer to something out of the blue, like the bursting of a bubble. And while it might be one of the most dangerous aspects around, it does happen once a year, which is hardly uncommon. So I don’t think that there’s much for you to be afraid of.
