The month starts with a conjunction between Mars and Saturn, which takes planet in the first degree of Libra. It’s a rather difficult influence, that has the potential for creating a certain amount of unpleasantness. We might find ourselves arguing with each other, and the things we’re involved with could turn out to be hard work. If you’re an Aries, Libra, Capricorn or a Aquarius you have to be particularly careful, and you mustn’t allow yourself to get angry.
On August 9 or 10 there’s a New Moon, in Leo. Overall it’s a fortunately influence, when we can show the world what we can do – and in the process we might get a lot of attention. Some of us might want to start work on a new creative project. Not surprisingly, the New Moon could be very significant for if you’re a Leo.
On August 13 or 14 Uranus changes sign, from Aries to Pisces – and it stays in Pisces until early next year. Bold and original moves have to be put on hold – unless Pisces is your star sign, in which case you’ll return to your old, rebellious ways.
A few days later, on August 16, there’s a stressful, opposition aspect between Jupiter and Saturn. This is a big deal, especially as it comes so close to Uranus’ sign change. The world will be complicated, and we’ll realise how much economic and political factors can impact on the lives of individual people – us included!
On August 20 there’s a conjunction between Venus and Mars, in Libra, which I mention a great deal when doing my forecasts for the individual signs. It’s a conjunction that’s very passionate, and in many cases it can signal new developments, of a romantic nature. But remember – where there’s passion there’s anger.
