At the end of last week, on Sunday July 11, there was a total eclipse of the Sun. Many of us will feel its shadow, all week long. We’ll feel that one thing has ended, that something else has begun. Nonetheless we’ll be thinking about the past, maybe with a certain feeling of regret. Nonetheless, what’s done is done, and it’s now time to move on.
As far as specifics are concerned, I’m not sure if it’s going to be a very spectacular week. Aside from the aftermath of the eclipse, we might notice that Mercury is now in Leo and Venus in Virgo.
Mercury is the planet of communication, and Leo is a sign that can be arrogant. So people could be very sure of themselves, and they won’t take kindly to alternative opinions. At the same time, Venus in Virgo could encourage us to be picky and very critical, and this could be bad news for romantic pursuits. Can we really expect emotional oneness if we’re badly dressed and sloppily groomed?
As far as the twelve star signs are concerned, I’ll now zap through them…
Aries You understand that home is where the heart is, but bear in mind that partners and lovers have ridiculously high standards.
Taurus It’s a good week for having serious discussions with your family. Though if you want to make progress you’ll have to use flattery.
Gemini Geminis have a high opinion of themselves, and they want to talk rather than listen. However some of your ideas are one sandwich short of a picnic.
Cancer Last weekend’s eclipse took place in your star sign. Things are changing, and when you emerge from your crab-like shell you’ll be a brand-new person.
Leo You speak with authority and power, and it’s quite obvious that you know what you’re talking about. If you want to buy clothes then shop around – you could save yourself a fortune.
Virgo Venus is now in your star sign. You’re looking good and your powers of seduction are on peak form. But don’t judge things and people by their surface appearance.
Libra The eclipse that’s just passed impacts on your career. The old ways of doing things have had their day, and you must now shift your focus. Don’t compromise!
Scorpio At work you’ve got something important to say, and if you have to make a scene then so be it. Bold words, plainly spoken, will have a huge impact.
Sagittarius The people close to you are behaving like primadonnas. You want them to shut up, but instead you should give them a chance to express themselves. A holiday romance is possible.
Capricorn Partners aren’t revealing much, but something is definitely going on, as you’ll discover over the next week or two. A new relationship starts slowly developing.
Aquarius You’re being told something that you don’t want to hear. You have to decide whether it’s a pearl of wisdom or absolutely nonsense. Don’t jump to conclusions.
Pisces There’s something you can do that other people can’t. So it’s not a time to be modest. When you’re close to rivers, oceans and lakes your creativity will be at a maximum.
