This article looks at the impact of Jupiter moving from Pisces into Aries. It also does a quick analysis of how this movement might impact on each of the twelve signs.
On Sunday June 6, at 7.28 am London time the planet Jupiter enters Aries. That’s 2.28 am in New York, or 11.28 pm the previous day in Los Angeles. But there’s no need to get hung up on the precise time.
Jupiter has a cycle of just under twelve years, so on average it spends a year in each sign. It’s the planet of good fortune, and it gives indications about areas of future growth.
Since January Jupiter has been in Pisces. Usually this would have been good news, because Jupiter is the ruler of Pisces. However things haven’t turned out as expected, and as Jupiter moved through this sign things have gone from bad to worse. This is because Jupiter was applying to an 180-degree aspect with Saturn in Virgo, and this aspect became exact in late May.
Under these circumstances, Jupiter leaving Pisces is probably something to be welcomed. We’ll become more positive about the future, and we can leave behind the sludge of the past.
Furthermore, the Aries point – in other words zero degrees Aries – has a special significance in astrology. It represents the world at large, and when Jupiter crosses this point a new energy will enter into the world’s consciousness.
However Jupiter doesn’t spend that long in Aries. Because of retrograde motion, it goes back into Pisces on September 8 or 9. So as the Summer unfolds we need to pack in as much as possible. Though in January 2011 Jupiter returns to Aries, where it stays until June of that year.
So this Summer it’s time to take the initiative. Perhaps in the past we’d felt that the time wasn’t right, that there were too many obstacles. Well, times are changing, and many of us will have to stand up and be counted.
As far as star sign astrology is concerned, the sign that should benefit the most from Jupiter going into Aries is… Aries. So if you’re an Aries, don’t waste this wonderful opportunity to get noticed. And remember, you’ll have plenty of luck, and if something can go right it probably will go right.
Leos and Sagittarians will benefit almost as much. Jupiter is making a fabulous, 120-degree aspect to your star sign, and over the summer life should run very smoothly.
If you’re a Libran, then Jupiter is moving through your opposite sign. Relationships can be a source of great satisfaction, and if you’re single don’t be surprised if there’s a significant meeting, of a romantic nature.
Geminis and Aquarians also benefit from Jupiter’s sign change. Your natural talents will come into their own, and you can surprise both yourself and your friends.
If you’re a Cancerian, then I would advice you not to take a summer holiday – especially from June 21 through to July 22. There’s work to be done, and if you put a hundred percent of your energy into career and business then spectacular results are possible.
Taureans should try to keep a low profile. Indeed for best results you’ll go on a spiritual retreat, so that you can rediscover yourself and your purpose.
Virgoans, by contrast, mustn’t be afraid of getting emotional. Where there’s passion there’s luck!
If you’re a Scorpio, Jupiter will encourage you to take active measures to boost your health and fitness. So over the next few months, it’ll be a good time to start a diet.
Capricorns can benefit from real estates deals. And if you want to change your location, I’m confident that you’ll make the right choice.
Finally there’s Pisces. Over the summer you can make a lot of money. You can also spend a lot of money. Which is it to be?
But whatever your sign, have a brilliant summer, and may Jupiter be good to you.
