Do you want to know the date of Easter, for any year?
Well, there’s an easy rule of thumb: it’s the first Sunday after the First Full Moon after the Spring Equinox. And it usually comes at the end of the Jewish festival of the Passover – because it was at this time that Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected.
This year’s pre-Easter Full Moon is on Tuesday March 30, at 3.25 am London time. Which is 10.25 pm on Monday March 29 in New York.
I don’t regard this Full Moon as being particularly significant, though some people will undoubtedly be affected by it. If you’re an Aries or a Libra then the Full Moon could affect your various relationships – perhaps you’ll start to understand someone, like never before. And over the next fortnight relationships could get stronger, but they could also be disrupted. If, on the other hand, you’re a Cancer or a Capricorn, you might have to make changes to your work-home balance.
On Wednesday 31 the planet Venus enters Taurus, where it stays until April 24 or 25. This is good news. Venus works very well in Taurus, and for most of April activities connected with beauty and fashion can exceed our expectations. So if you want to buy beautiful, sensuous clothes, now might be your chance.
Then we move into the Easter Weekend. Well, I’m not convinced that it’s going to be great, so don’t get your hopes up.
Overall, there is going to be a lot of tension. You and your family might clash with each other, and small details could cause big arguments.
It’s because both Mercury and Venus are making a stressful, 90-degree aspect to Mars. There’ll be high levels of nervous energy, and you must steer clear of people who annoy you – even if you love them to bits!
I would also suggest that you avoid close relationships, especially if you and the other person don’t know each other very well. This is because the Venus-Mars aspect could be troublesome. First the excitement, and the temptation… then, all of a sudden, things go wrong. Two people, with two separate agendas, engaged in a mindless confrontation, with no winners, only losers.
But if you’re a hermit, the Easter Weekend looks great. Just make sure that you don’t spend time on the phone, unless you’re dealing with something really important.
