New Moon in Pisces on March 15: words can be as explosive as bombs

by Archie Dunlop on March 10, 2010

Just a quick reminder that the current lunar cycle is drawing to a close, and on Monday March 15 there’s a New Moon.  It’s at 9.01 pm London time, which is 4.01 pm in New York.

New Moons are regular events, which by definition take place every month.  So one might ask whether there’s any point in commenting on them.

Well, each New Moon has its own character, that’s defined by the other planets.  And the March 15 New Moon, which takes place in the twenty-sixth degree of Pisces, happens to be very close to a conjunction between Mercury and Uranus, in the twenty-seventh degree of Pisces.

Mercury and Uranus are an electric combination.  They represent sudden messages, that have surprising consequences.  These messages are often delivered electronically.

So in the last half of March there’s going to be a lot of talking, and we’ll receive some interesting emails and text messages.  However we have to be careful.  What sounds important could actually be trivial, and we should avoid jumping to conclusions.

The star signs most affected by the New Moon will be Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.  Geminis might receive important career news; Virgos could discover that their partners are talking rubbish; Sagittarians could spend all their spare time trying to fix their computers; while Pisceans could be a hornets’ next of useless activity.

Politicians, regardless of their star sign, should avoid making speeches,  The words will come pouring out, but the message might be misunderstood.  At the same time engineers and technicians must understand their limitations, because small mistakes could have catastrophic consequences.

As to what part of the world the New Moon is likely to affect, then I’d go for the Middle East and the Caucasus, with particular emphasis on Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.  Perhaps in the aftermath of the Iraqi elections, strong words will be spoken, and the Iranians will be trying to leverage their influence?  Words can be as explosive as bombs!
