Aquarian Amy Bishop and the Alabama shootings

by Archie Dunlop on February 15, 2010

The big news over the weekend was the shootings at the University of Alabama, in which three academics were killed.

The prime suspect is Amy Bishop.  She is a Harvard-educated biologist, and according to Madison County Sheriff’s Office she was born on February 4 1968.  This makes her an Aquarius.

As an Aquarius, she has her own way of doing things, and it’s a good sign to have if you’re a scientist.  You can think outside the box, and do research that’s stunningly original.

However Aquarians can sometimes be too original for their own good.  People mightn’t understand what they’re doing, and in the workplace there can be problems.

In the astrological jargon, Aquarius is a ‘Fixed’ sign.  This means that it often finds change difficult, and as a result of its lack of flexibility it can, in extreme cases, break rather than bend.

So if Amy Bishop was involved in the shootings, it’s possible that she suddenly snapped.

Still, I don’t want to spend any longer discussing her Aquarian star sign.  Most Aquarians are logical and rational people, who you wouldn’t associate with mass murder.

Looking at other factors in her chart, Amy Bishop probably has the Moon in Aries, unless she was born late in the evening.

In a female horoscope the Moon is often more descriptive than the Sun and if she had the Moon in Aries she could have had an impulsive streak.

Apparently Amy Bishop had killed someone on a previous occasion, when in 1986 she shot her brother.  This seems rather extraordinary, and one wonders whether any homicidal symbolism showed up in the planetary positions on February 4 1968.

Well, if we use planetary midpoints, we see a very powerful pattern.

Amy Bishop has Uranus making an 180 degree aspect to her Mars-Saturn midpoint.   She also has zero degrees Aries conjunct this midpoint.

In astrology Mars and Saturn are a pair of planets that are often associated with death.  Zero degrees Aries represents the world in general, and her alleged actions have certainly hit the global headlines.

As far as Uranus on the Mars-Saturn midpoint is concerned, German astrologer Reinhold Ebertin described this combination as follows:

…the ability to give as well as take under provocation, the inclination to apply brute force… a sudden accident, separation or case of death.

Uranus, by the way, is a planet that is often associated with firearms and explosives, so when it’s on the Mars-Saturn midpoint one could quite literally say ‘death by gunshot’.

Which raises the question of why Amy Bishop was allowed to have access to firearms.  Surely someone should have first checked her horoscope?

I totally agree, I think it would make such a huge and positive impact on humanity in terms of awareness and prevention of such crimes if a baby has it’s natal chart drawn and translated by a cabinet of astrologers – most patients are only offered ‘baby photos’
oh please?
If I wasn’t up on Astrology I’m not sure my son and I would still be speaking ;-)
keep up the good work Archie

Carolyne,

I’m glad that astrology was able to sort out your relationship with you son.

As for cabinets of astrologers looking at every baby’s horoscope, that would at least keep astrologers in business! Though would they agree with each other?

Still, the most dangerous aspects usually pass off withtout event, unless you know other things. If someone had already killed their brother AND had Uranus and the Aries Point on the Mars-Saturn midpoint, then I think they should probably not be given access to firearms.

According to Harvard Alumni Affairs Amy Bishop was born on April 24, 1965.

There seems to have been some confusion around her age and birthdate. Also read an article where her own husband said he didn’t know when her birthday was.

Jessica,

Thanks for the comment. I realised that I was taking a bit of a risk with this article, as there seemed to be several views on when she was born.

However the reason I went with February 4 1968 was a search of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office’s website, at the following address:

http://www.co.madison.al.us/services/sheriff/searchinmate.php

Her Inmate ID Number, by the way, is 0064007 .

Maybe I am being naive, but if you arrest someone for a capital offence, you would surely get her birthdate correct? You wouldn’t just take the person you’ve arrested’s word for it?

Still, I should perhaps have made it clear in the article that there are several birth dates being circulated, and thanks for bringing it to everyone’s attention.

Interesting – thanks for posting that link. She supposedly graduated from Northeastern with her bachelors in 1988 when she would have been only 20. Given her supposed intelligence I guess that is possible.

For someone whose own husband doesn’t know her birthday it seems she has a problem with people knowing the correct day, but you’re right – one would think the police would have the correct data. She certainly looks older than 41, but that doesn’t mean anything.

As an astrologer I’m very curious to get the correct birth information and will keep looking also.

Jessica,

Yes, the graduation date does make her seem young, if she was indeed born in 1968. I would guess that very soon we will know when she was born, for sure, when she starts going through the court system.

If she was born on April 24 1965, then that fits, at least in a star sign sense. Taureans when they get annoyed can be very dangerous! Timothy McVeigh was born on April 23 1968.
