Aries
November kicks off with a Full Moon, which falls across the finance axis of your solar chart. So for the first half of the month financial issues will be of crucial importance.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of your material prospects, and this should very much be welcomed. You can see which areas of expenditure are doing you no good, and it’s possible that certain associations are costing you unacceptable amounts of money.
Maybe you’re being too generous? For example always paying someone else’s bills? Or allowing another person to take liberties?
Yet I’m not suggesting that November has to be a financial headache. There’ll be times during the month when you’ll be very lucky, and if you see an opportunity you should go for it – even if the odds appear to be stacked against you.
However if you’ve got a speculative streak, and you enjoy taking financial risks, you must know your limits. You might get lucky once or twice, but if you role the dice too many times there could be an unfortunate result.
Taurus
In November there’s going to be pressure to spend money on domestic fittings and appliances. For example a new kitchen, or new curtains. But such expenditure won’t be worth it, and this month’s purchase could be next month’s regret.
As the month progresses the pressure to spend money will increase, so self-discipline will be important. You’ve got limited resources, and if you give in to every temptation your bank balance could take a plunge.
On the plus side, at the very end of the month Mercury, your finance ruler, is aspecting Jupiter. There could be some financial good luck. It’s the kind of luck that requires a bit of effort – you see an opportunity, you put in the work, and you eventually receive a cash bonus.
Gemini
Do you actually know what you’re spending your money on?
For example, there might be monthly payments that you’ve lost track off – and for some reason you just can’t see what’s going on.
However it’s time to take a long, hard look at your finances, and everything you spend must be accounted for. Such an approach might seem boring, but in the current economic climate it’s essential.
Cancer
For all of November the planet Mars is moving through the finance sector of your solar chart. In astrology Mars can be an angry influence, and when it comes to money there could be some serious disagreements.
You’ll be very certain about the best way of handling money, and if other people don’t agree with you, then you could get very annoyed very quickly. While it’s good that you’re being so assertive, you must make some effort to understand points of view that are different from your own.
Despite this, I’m optimistic about your financial prospects in November. Cancerians usually have a good understanding of financial realities, and you know what it takes to defend your corner.
If you’ve done your research, and you’re using your brain as well as your heart, then as the month progresses you can take active measures to improve your financial situation. You might even have the opportunity to negotiate a pay-rise for yourself, against the odds. After all, you’ve got special talents, which are much in demand.
Leo
On the surface you seem very relaxed about money. Your finances seem to be under control, and you can meet your various obligations without any sweat.
Yet appearances can be deceptive, and deep down many Leos will be worried. It’s a worry that isn’t necessarily personal, it’s more to do with your assessment of the wider economy, and you want to take action to make yourself more secure. Which is great, because in your own careful way you can take the necessary steps, and the less you advertise what you’re doing the better.
During the last half of November there’ll be temptations to spend unreasonable amounts of money – perhaps on leisure and pleasure. You know it’s a waste, and it’s a time when you need to show some self-discipline.
Though don’t be narrow-minded, because right at the end of November Mercury makes a fantastic aspect to Jupiter, and a brilliant opportunity for financial gain will come your way.
Virgo
Saturn’s movement into Libra puts the focus on money. Not just in November, but for the next couple of years. And I’m sure it’s a good thing.
You can get to grips with your finances in a serious way, and through careful preparation you can make sure that you’re well-protected against any future turmoil.
However it might take a bit of time before you start feeling Saturn’s influence, and over the course of November there could be some financial confusion.
You won’t be quite sure how to deal with things, but at the same time you’ll find it difficult, if not impossible, to seek outside advice. While it’s true that you can’t trust everyone, there are some honest people out there, who can almost certainly be relied on.
Libra
On November 2 there’s a Full Moon, across the finance axis of your solar chart.
This Full Moon shines a light on your financial dealings, for better or for worse. You might try to ignore the truth, but that’s not advisable. Take a long, hard look at the situation, and if there’s a problem you must address it, straight away.
The need for financial awareness becomes very clear from November 7 onwards. Your money skills will decline, and you won’t be able to count on Lady Luck to get you out of a bad situation. So avoid making financial decisions, and don’t take risks with your money.
And towards the end of the month, as Venus moves towards a stressful aspect with Neptune, you should be very careful who you trust.
Scorpio
During the first half of November I don’t think that money is going to be particular important to you, one way or another, and there’ll probably be other things that you want to concentrate on. Which is good – when you’re not thinking about money you’re more relaxed and more productive.
From mid-November onwards the financial dimension becomes a lot more pressing. You realise that money’s important, and some Scorpios might want to do something drastic, to improve your prospects.
However it’s important that you don’t over-react. If you lash out, without thinking, you could cost yourself a lot of money. Matters could be made worse by faulty information.
Yet in the last few days of November, when Mercury aspects Jupiter, you could find something out, probably through a member of your family, which could be of major value.
Sagittarius
At the end of last month Saturn, your money ruler, moved from Virgo to Libra.
Overall this is a favourable change. Saturn is strongly placed in Libra, and between now and 2012 you’ll have a responsible attitude to your finances, and you’ll lose some of your Sagittarian impulsiveness.
However you’ll feel a financial responsibility not just to yourself and your family, but also to wider society. So some Sagittarians will feel an inclination to give generously to charity.
This is a good thing, provided you don’t go over the top – because what you give you often get back, many times over.
On a shorter term level, you might find that in November you’re saddled with a number of unplanned expenses. These expenses are probably avoidable, but you’ll have to be sharp. You have to look at every aspect of your finances, and you must make sure that you read the small print. Especially around the time of the New Moon, on November 16.
Capricorn
Neptune starts going forward, in a way that has a direct impact on your finances.
This planet can be a difficult energy to handle. It can be very deceptive, and you can be led in a direction that you live to regret. So perhaps an old temptation will come back into your life, and you’ll be encouraged to spend a lot of money on something stupid and wasteful.
On the plus side, Neptune can be a very sensitive influence, and you might get wind of a new way of making money. It’s unusual, and maybe futuristic, and at first you might have your worries. But once you’ve made a few enquires you’ll realise that you’re onto a potential winner.
Aquarius
You’re feeling more optimistic about your finances. There were times in the last year when things were touch and go, but you can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
While it’s true that the overall situation is getting better, it’s important not to be complacent. Things could still go wrong, and every detail needs to be attended to. And although you have a good understanding of economics cycles, there are still some gaps in your knowledge, that could catch you out.
Pisces
Some Pisceans can be very chaotic, and they can forget important details, perhaps relating to their finances.
However this month your financial judgement is better than usual. You’ll be surprisingly well organised, and if the figures don’t stack up you’ll be quick to make a fuss.
This assertiveness might be out of character, but it’s something to be welcomed. You’ll get a handle on your expenditure, and if anyone’s messing you around you’ll bring them back into line, very quickly.
