Hafeez, I’m not sure if it’s ever possible to be perfect, however one can always try. I doubt that even Bill Gates was ever a perfect software engineer!
Nonetheless, I’m very optimistic about your career prospects.
While in the short term there might be some ups and downs, and a few hiccups with your studies, it’s not serious, and if you keep working away I’m confident that you’ll become an excellent software engineer.
To be more specific, it’s important that you realise that much of your work will be hidden. You can study programming in public, and start doing it for money, but it’s what you do when you’re alone and undisturbed that matters. Your private work, that other people probably wouldn’t understand, can give you a key advantage. And it’s perhaps important that you study things that aren’t taught – remembering that Geminis like you are often very good at directing their own studies.
Although at the moment you seem to have some uncertainty about your career direction, I believe that it’s very quicly going to sort itself out. Perhaps the root cause of such issues is the planet Saturn, which in Western astrology is making stressful aspects to your Sun and Jupiter. These aspects started in November, and they’re continue, on and off, until September 2009. But it’s a passing phase, and certainly nothing to worry about. Self-discipline can conqueor just about every challenge.
Also, you shouldn’t panic if, in the first instance, you’re not making much money from what you’re doing. If you stick with it, you’ll make a good income from your career. You might not be perfect, but you’ll be as close to perfect as you can be. And that’s easily good enough!
